5th Grade Curriculum
Reflection
This project was fun, but a little tedious. I liked 5th grade, but reflecting on it now as a Junior, I realized it was a little rudimentary. One thing I learned was to present to adults who are professionals at doing things for kids. That was probably the first time I presented to a panel of judges, who are actually completely knowledgeable in the subject. Also I learned how to do complex research on the Internet. It's not easy, because you have to fully immerse yourself into the field of study and this particular subject is hard to find solid evidence on.
I could've prepared for the slideshow better because I totally forgot about it due to having a break before it. Although I forgot to practice I still think our group did a great job. Another negative could be that I made a survey or some way to connect and further understand the typical 5th grade thought process. To conclude this project had it pluses and minuses, but I'm glad I understand the future generation much better and that will help me in the future.
